Q: is the ABS lock the most secure lock of its type and if so why?
A: We Feel it’s the most secure due to its unique patented lockable cam system, and obviously the independent testing house that evaluate locks do as well as they have had to come up with a new standard to accredit with . The lock will snap at the sacrificial point (it’s supposed to, at this point the burglar will probably give up – however if he knows what his doing he will snap the lock again to expose the cam. You see at this point the cam falls out on most if not all locks. But the ABS locking cam stays in place – and bypassing it at this point takes some serious knowledge, time. noise and tools to do so.
We have witnessed and seen other anti snap locks being bypassed in under a minute by snapping!
